I am sure everybody has heard of this phrase "jitna kismat me likha hai utna hi milega" , translates to "you will only get whatever is written in your destiny". My question is how do you know the limit of one's destiny?
This is something I have always thought about and I have never been able to uncover the logic behind the phrase. How do you know that you have achieved the most? How do you know that this is all you can do with your life. How do you know that you have reached the limit of your capabilities? I thought a lot about it and realized that actually destiny has no limits.
Destiny is an illusion that we use as an excuse when we fail to achieve our goal. We are made to believe that everyone has a defined amount of success that they can get. We hear of this at almost every place and from everybody since our childhood is they be our teachers, our parents, our friends, newspaper and channels, movies or magazines. We blame fate for our failures and weaknesses without realizing that there can be a perfect solution if we just think about it.
How can we be so sure that we have reached a point from where on we cannot go any forward? If we work with full sincerity how is fate a hurdle for us? How is something that has no existence can be responsible for anything bad or even good happening to us? It's all about us and our decisions.
Destiny for me is a target. Set a goal that you want to achieve and call that your destiny and when you achieve it, set a new destiny.
Cheers!
